Nik Parr is finishing “American Lover Boy,” recorded at the iconic Sam Phillips Studios in Memphis, Tennessee, known for recording Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Roy Orbison. Produced by Adam Weiner of Low Cut Connie, and featuring legendary session musicians from Al Green’s band, this project channels the essence of American rock n’ roll and soul music. Anticipated release, Fall 2024.

Nik Parr & The Selfless Lovers have shared the stage with many of the top acts in roots music: Black Joe Lewis, Rebirth Brass Band, Soul Rebels, Tank & The Bangas, Dumpstaphunk, Marc Broussard, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Ripe, Eric Tessmer, Sir Woman, The Peterson Brothers, Lucius, Los Coast, Carolyn Wonderland, Tomar + The FC’s, Chapel Hart, Too Many Zooz, Turkuaz, The Damn Quails, Tameca Jones

The group tours actively with over one hundred and fifty shows per year around the country; making fans across their home state of Texas, The Southeast, The Midwest and all the way out to the Rocky Mountains. While they play many stages, Austin’s legendary Continental Club is their favorite. The touring roster features longtime drummer Daniel Warner, bassist Evan Durr, and guitarist Keegan Flynn.

Since 2017, Nik has written and recorded two EP’s and three full length albums, “Glad To Be Here,”(2017) “The Selfless Lovers,” (2018) “Live in Austin,” (2019) “When The Bars Close,” (2021) “Promised Land,” (2022) along with releasing various singles. 2024’s “Falling In Love Again,” garnered over 30K Spotify streams in its first two weeks.
